San Francisco World Dance Artist Gypsy Love to Perform on Main Stage of SF LGBT Pride Celebration
San Francisco – Thousands of revelers at this year’s San Francisco Pride Celebration Main Stage will enjoy world dance artist Gypsy Love as she shimmies and shakes to her latest original dance hits on June 24.

A native San Franciscan, she’ll be dazzling the audience with her trademark belly dancing while pumping out the vocals on her uplifting world dance anthem, “Wish” (released by Hit Save Music, October 2011). Gypsy Love’s debut coincides with her latest smash single, “Gypsy of Love” (Hit Save Music, June 2012).

The Main Stage — the largest at the SF Pride Celebration located in Civic Center Plaza next to City Hall — features up-and-coming, cutting-edge talent, world-renowned performers, and the best of local entertainment from the Bay Area. Past performers have included Lady Gaga, The Backstreet Boys, BoA, Fey, The Cliks, Kat Deluna, Inaya Day, Crystal Waters and Me’shell Ndegeocello.

This year’s Pride theme is “Global Equality,” a perfectly fitting complement to Gypsy Love, whose colorful world-fusion vibe and heartfelt message of universal love has captivated the Bay Area and beyond.

With contagious enthusiasm, Gypsy Love commented on her Pride Main Stage debut stating, “I’m honored and excited to celebrate in my hometown for my ‘San Framily.’ I’m dedicating my performance to them and pulling out all stops to rock that stage in the name of love!”

When she isn’t mesmerizing audiences on stage, she’s serving her tribe in various ways. For the past several years, Gypsy Love has taught dance to children with special needs at the Bay Area’s Special Needs Arts Program (SNAP). She’s a key contributor to, and a featured performer for the House of Garza, San Francisco’s community service, entertainment troupe which raises funding and awareness for charities such as: ORAM International, SF AIDS Foundation, Richmond/Ermet AIDS Foundation, and SF Department of Public Health HIV Research Section.
